According to the article on the World Karate Federation (WKF) website, the participation of Russian and Belarusian athletes in WKF events has been suspended. This decision follows the current international situation in relation to Russia and Belarus.
The WKF has stated that the suspension will remain in force until further notice, and will apply to all WKF championships and events. This decision was taken in order to preserve the integrity of the sport and ensure a fair and safe competition environment for all athletes.
