After participating, as an additional sport, in the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games and not having been selected for the Paris 2024 Games, karate was accepted into the final phase of selection for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games.
This does not mean that karate will be at the Games again. But, just that we’re still on the potential list.
