After Adidas brand, Bud-Nord announced Mirai WKF Green Karate Gi, specially designed for the #GreenKarate initiative, stands as a testament to responsible innovation in sports apparel. More than just a Karate Gi, it’s an environmentally-friendly choice made from at least 70% recycled materials, designed not only to enhance performance but also to preserve our planet.

The World Karate Federation (WKF) is making a bold statement with this initiative, aiming to bring eco-consciousness to the forefront of martial arts. At the core of this initiative is the mandate that all “WKF Approved” equipment must now be produced with at least 70% of recycled materials to bear the “WKF Approved Green Karate” label. It’s a significant stride towards reducing the environmental footprint of Karate and showcasing that sports can indeed play a crucial role in fostering a sustainable future.

What’s more, in alignment with the project’s sustainability goals, the Mirai Gi will be delivered in a recyclable paper bag. This move takes a further step towards eliminating unnecessary plastic packaging, amplifying the initiative’s environmentally friendly impact.
